Camellia's in Bloom!

I noticed yesterday, that my Amelia 's were in bloom.   I had no time to look, but today was very relaxed and restful.   Some of the camellias had gone by, they were rather small, compared to the spring blooms.....  But they were a brilliant red color!    I got these photos in the morning with a minimal amount of sun blowing out the color.  
      You can see, from the photos why Camellias are called evergreen.   By looking at the vivid green and waxy shine, one can observe how these shrubs don't loose their leaves in the winter.   It makes a beautiful color contrast.
