Let the countdown begin .....

I treated myself to an old-fashioned Advent Calendar (the ones with a picture behind the door rather than a chocolate) but thought it looked lonely so started to put up other Christmas decorations.   We don't normally put them up until later in the month but I get the sense we won't be alone in starting earlier this year. 

Today  I had a new Poetry Zoom in the morning (where we will writing our own lines as well as reading those of others) and my Gaelic Class in the afternoon.  

In between times I made Pea and Spring Onion Soup (blasta*) and went for a brisk walk.  Toying with the idea of doing at least a daily mile in the run up to Christmas.
