winter sunshine!

the sun returned today - yay - so that lured me back out in the garden for a short while to finish off planting all the tulip bulbs I bought recently! So tempted to buy more but must resist!

This mahonia has been flowering for a few weeks now and is keeping the bees busy in the garden as they love it, along with clematis 'freckles' which is also flowering like mad! We still have dahlias in bloom which is crazy in December as frosts should have blackened them off by now!

Started wrapping Xmas presents this afternoon for friends that I need to send off, and had hoped it would make me feel more festive but it failed! I feel less festive this year which is not surprising! Can Xmas be over already?! LOL!! Bah humbug!!
