A Very Fun Day!

I had a terrific walk through a neighborhood of Portland called Sellwood today with a new friend. Although I've known him through social media for quite some time now, we'd never met. He's going to be working with us on the botanical garden project as our finance guy. 

Although I'd been to Sellwood several times, I'd never explored much. We did about a 4 mile wander and saw all sorts of beautiful sites and houses and many plants still in bloom (see extra). 

I think that the river creates a micro climate that is warmer than where I live - west of the city.

The main blip is a view of the city of Portland over the marshes of the Willamette River...gorgeous area. It was a beautiful day with great company....a good time was had by all!
