Yorkshire or Cumbria

In 2016 the Yorkshire Dales National Park was extended about 2 miles westwards towards the M6 on the road I travel along to visit Friend A , which we did today because it was her husbands birthday yesterday and we didn't want him to feel forgotten . He's a Yorkshireman by birth and was happy to move to Sedbergh which, although in Cumbria now, was, until April 1974, in the West Riding of Yorkshire and remains part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.  This sign is one of the nice new ones they built in 2016 at the revised boundary to welcome you into the Park
