Out of season....

......shield bug found on our front door today. I wonder if it came out of the wreath foliage? It wasn’t very well I don’t think. We put it into a bush in the garden but the weather is too cold now for these invertebrates I would think. 
Only photo taken in a busy day doing all sorts of little chores but N and I took time for lunch in a wee cafe in Haddington. Felt very safe :)
