Almost

Anemone coronaria, the autumn flowering form from the Levant which I showed in bud a little while back.   The cold days and the low sun mean the flowers have barely opened yet.   Just a glimpse today of the interesting pale blue anthers at the centre of the flower, they turn golden as they open and release the pollen from within.

An online meeting this morning for Jamie then a day when I sorted a couple of boxes of my own stuff.  Plenty to add to the recycling so it counts as a productive day even if I was watching a movie with Jamie while I worked.   Jamie used some of the marshmallows he made earlier in the week to make a sinfully sweet Rocky Road with chocolate and digestive biscuits .... Yummmmy!
