Tadpoles

belonging to my grandsons who have called them tad and pole!
When my children were growing up, each summer they came home with tadpoles from a local pond and kept them until they developed legs and lost their tails then took them back to the pond to live their lives as frogs. My grandchildren hadn't seen tadpoles so when my daughter saw them for sale in a garden centre she bought these two. They have been told to feed them lettuce which is new to me. I am sure we fed ours on fish food.
