Mission not accomplished

I took time out from working from home to try to post K's birthday card and gift (well, part of a gift as something else is not ready, and something else has not arrived).
The queues at both Post Office's I tried were ridiculous. Mission abandoned for the day. 
Starlings on the park's stadium lights are today's blip.
