A group of cabbage trees

We had a very late night from welcoming the New Year. I’ve added an extra photo of the Sky Tower fireworks display just after midnight. 

Although, I woke at my weekday waking time,min returned to sleep for a couple of hours. Even so, I took the day quietly until I had a jog through the Arch Hill Reserve; it was rather hot for a run. 

Am reading a science fiction book on the kindle S bought me for my birthday. Very enjoyable way to abstract myself from the present.
