Nacho nachos

The first time I heard one of those ‘it’s nacho cheese’ jokes, I didn’t get it.

It’s because in my accent, nacho sounds very little like not your – or indeed not yo’, which is not even something I would typically say.

Or it might be that I’m no longer down wif da yoof.

(If you don’t know what down wif da yoof means, you are definitely not down wif da yoof.)
