In solitude

I often like to be alone and I especially like to be alone when I'm walking. That's one of the reasons I'm most frequently on the moors walking. Walking is the practical expression of my metaphorical approach to dealing with depression - I just put one foot in front of the other and after a while I've walked a mile and eventually I'm in a different place. As it is with walking, as it is with my head.
