Searching for...

...a quiet space to eat, this squirrel decided to sit on top of a bird box. Besides being quite peaceful, the tree provided some shelter from this morning's miserable rain.

I didn't hang about, because both my camera and I were getting soaked.

I also took my extra shot of a leaf on the surface of an icy pool before the ice had completely melted. I liked the textures.
