Cley

I intended to do a fairly short walk from Blakeney onto the marsh and back again.  However, as I got walking there was a bitter wind coming from behind and I knew that if I turned around to walk back it would be straight in my face.  So I continued and did the full walk around the salt marsh to Cley.  A good walk; as well as the ‘usual’ birds I saw a large flock of Lapwings ahead of me that kept flying a little bit further away as I approached, and in the field where I saw the barn owl last year there were three egrets and a large flock of curlews.
