Water, water, everywhere

What a dreich day – champagne drizzle, hours and hours of it. A morning walk took us to Streatham's Rookery where there were only a handful of people out and about. I was charmed when watching a gardener in conversation with a robin. That was lovely to see. Folk were more friendly than usual – a lack of seeing people, perhaps. I'm usually the one instigating a "hello" so it was nice to be "hello"d first.

The bird table was busy with two magpies, two parakeets, the usual goldfinches, tits and.... drumroll... a redwing!

I watched Under the Tree – a neighbourhood dispute in Iceland that gets horribly out of hand. Darkly funny and the cat has a great role in the story.
