Good Companions

Driving in to work by the back roads this morning, after a couple of hours or so working from home, I was rewarded by the sight of the donkey and pony in the field beside Markstakes Lane.

It was only when I stopped to photograph them from the gate beside the lane that I noticed the magpie on the pony's back.
