Consulate General of the United States

Today's early morning Covid Exercise Walk has a US Theme on the day of the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th President.  The walk took me past the Consulate General of the United States in Regent Terrace, Edinburgh and my Extra Photo is a shot of Abraham Lincoln standing in the Old Calton Burial Ground at the foot of Calton Hill - part of a 1893 Memorial to Scots who fought and died in the American Civil War. This is  the only monument to the American Civil War outside the United States and was the first statue to a US President outside her own borders. It is the only statue of Lincoln in Scotland.
