Mahonia

I have never previously thought of mahonia as a particularly scented flower but boy does it pack a punch! On returning from a walk to the post office with Reggie, I really noticed it. The flowers, although my least favourite colour, are small, dainty and prolific and the leaves are evergreen so with the huge bonus of a delicious scent, it really is an all round garden winner.

In slightly more worldly news, the Orange Baboon is out and Old Man Biden is in, along with his bright, young, female VP. The environment is back on the agenda and some of Trump’s more racist policies are being reversed. We have high hopes for this Administration. If only we could be rid of our own Buffoon and reverse Brexit.
