Forward woman

Thank you so much for the lovely comments, stars and many hearts on my two year blip-birthday yesterday. I am hugely grateful for your interest and support. :)

It was f-f-f-fresh out this morning, my fingers were numb taking photos. This lovely Victorian lady is a reproduction of the masthead of the Roseau, a sailing ship (barque) built in Jersey in 1857. She sailed between England and the West Indies. This carving sits above the entrance to the Maritime Museum.

A wonderful thing happened earlier this evening. J got the result from that exam that she categorically thought she had messed up. She only went and got 72%. She was bouncing around in disbelief and overwhelmed with joy and relief! (Me too!)
