The Pelican Palace

In what seems to be an ongoing theme of late, the life of the pelican was once again on display this morning. Today it was a glimpse of this Pelican Palace that garnishes the riverbank of our little niche of paradise. Though it wasn't built for our web-footed friends, they seem perfectly happy with inhabiting the upper quarters, and often gather in fellowship as nature would have it.
