In't good ol' days, 'twere nothing unusual t' see a group o' highly paid footballers goin' out t' seaside for a meal and a beer.

So, when Liverpool Football Club decamped t' Blackpool for lunch, a swim and a night out at t' amusements, nobody looked askance.
