Beneath the Canopy

This large potted cyclamen has been in the greenhouse & has just come indoors so that we can enjoy the flowers in time. I had the idea that maybe I could get a shot of the buds on the jungle floor, as it were. After much fiddling with lighting, angles, focussing, to try to get the delicate detail on the main bud without having too many distracting highly lit leaf stalks, I've sort of achieved what I was planning, I think..
