Crash

As I'd been driving off from visiting friends in Ruislip shortly before midnight on 27 September, while wiping the windscreen, an unlit parked truck loomed large in front of me. I slammed the brakes and swerved, but smote the truck on its offside with my nearside, smashing the passenger side in. Although I was able to limp home in it, rather draughtily, and escaped injury myself, in those few seconds Miles (the car) was written off.
