Living colour

A rather gloomy and drizzly day, but I set off after lunch as usual for a brisk walk around the roads. I didn't go down to the seafront this time but stayed about halfway up, peering over people's walls in search of photographic opportunities.

This was about the best - a young witch hazel growing in a tub outside a house. Thought it went well with the blue on the house eaves. Must get one for my slope. Good to see colour beginning to show in gardens.

Quote of the Day:

Percy Bysshe Shelley – “O, wind, If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?”
