It was a dull damp morning and these lovely yellow crocuses shone out like jewels in the grass on Clarence Drive. I was on my way to Victoria Park and I also snapped the bare flower beds there (extra), for future comparison later in the year. It was good to see people exercising outdoors - running, working with a trainer, rope skipping. I wonder if outdoor gyms will be more popular after restrictions are lifted. I’ll be heading for the hills.

This afternoon I read more of the book group book after a long gap, and finished Part 1. Within each Part, I’m reading the chapters in a different order to help me keep track of the different people and stories in Luckenbooth Close. Not sure why Jenni Fagan felt the need to alternate them. Also this afternoon, Spanish practice on the topic of ‘people’ and online ‘Boxfit’ class.
