Life is too short, to play silly games

We did the allotment today. 

Up we went at 10 - bacon butties and coffee in hand. 

Si dismantled stuff, and I dug.   I dug round the parsnips, I dug round the Leeks, and I turned over the third bed. 

I was knackered. 

So exhausted. 

People kept arriving at the allotment - it was very busy  We took our rubbish away and dropped it at the dump.  When we got home, we were so excited by the warm weather we worked in the garden; had a cup of tea in Cosmo. 

I dug over the front garden, and felt so much better for the weeds and grass being gone. 

I was exhausted by then, so I had a shower, and slapped a facepack on  and did some knitting. 

Then we had the most lovely dinner and now we are sitting and watching tv, and chilling til it's time for bed.
