Sneaky

Almost a decade of trial and error has taught me one thing: if you want to bag a shot of Mr Smith without the signature raised middle finger, you have to keep the camera out of view, be fast and sneaky. 

He was considerate enough to catch a quick shower between annihilating the virtual competition up the gruelling roads of Alp d'Huez and logging in for yet another video call at the end of a week of video calls. 

In less than 24 hours I have had two great Zoom calls with two legendary scousers, so legendary in fact that they were both kicked out of the mythical city, to live a life of exile in godforsaken places like East Lothian or Ottawa. 

Isn't technology marvellous?
