Dip

We’ve been making Chinese dumplings. A joint venture where S made the filling, I made the dipping sauce and we both made the dumplings. My first attempt was more like a mini Cornish pastie but luckily S remembered how to seal them properly and in the end not a single one came apart in the pot. The recipes and the process were both taught to us by a Chinese cook when we visited Guilin so it all brought back some happy memories. And they tasted great!
I’m a bit worn out tonight, not from any cooking exertions but from a new set of exercises I was trying out this morning (the extra gives a flavour). It was probably a mistake going through the book and trying to learn how to do each one correctly. Might have overdone things. Certainly surprised a few comatose muscle groups.
