Be still, my beating heart

Perhaps *slightly* out-trumps a kingfisher. This is the 3rd year running that I've seen an egret in the same place and at this time of year. Wonder where it's coming from and going to? An unusual sight around here, always chuffed to see it.

Not a great photo as I wasn't able to get anywhere near so I shall call this a "record shot" ;-)
