Crocus plus little bug

There are plenty of crocuses and snowdrops in Maxwell Park but after yesterday's high winds and heavy rain many are now battered, bruised and spattered with mud. Much knee bending needed to take today's photo. The ground, although damp, was not nearly as muddy as I expected.

The afternoon, as usual, has just disappeared with very little constructive activity achieved.
