The Woodland Garden (Saturday 27th February 2021)

These are the same crocuses that I photographed on Friday. Amazing what a little sunshine can do. Some adjacent narcissii are in Extras.

I hadn't expected the builders back until Monday but they spent the morning here putting back the solar panels, completing that section of the job. Conservatory and porch roofwork should start on Monday.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Bob Dylan - Went To See The Gypsy (Take 6) (recorded 5 June 1970, Columbia Studio E, New York NY)
The official version of this (Take 4C) was on New Morning. All in all Dylan recorded a dozen takes, first demoing the song on 3 March 1979. The Gypsy of the song is believed to be Elvis Presley, who had that nickname at the time. The lyric tells of going to Las Vegas but not finding him there.
This previously unreleased version comes from a new box set called 1970 that I had on pre-order. The release date has been put back to mid-March but I was able to start playing it on Amazon Music's Auto Rip streaming facility.
Four years earlier Elvis recorded Dylan's song Tomorrow Is A Long Time.
