Spring in the churchyard

On a sunny but chilly day, I went for a long brisk walk to enjoy the early spring flowers. I passed this old churchyard that was full of daffodils, snowdrops and crocuses that brightened up the rows of tombstones. An old lady was walking her dog and told me how she had successfully preserved the red telephone boxes in the local villages, that now serve as libraries and food stores during the pandemic. A bit of our old heritage!
