Saturday Funday

We ventured out to the Matagarup Bridge to check out the progress of the Zipline that they’re building from the bridge to the shore.  Julian fancies himself as a daredevil and wants to try it when its up and running. Only 300 steps to climb up to the platform where you then zipline down to the shore, scared the hell out of me but he was excited!! Eeek!!  Josh’s mum has agreed to go with him as she is a fitness fanatic and really wants to do it too!! I’ll wait at the bottom and take photos ; ). A few shots in extras of the platform where you take off, the view from the bridge down the line to where it stops after going over the river then over a lake! And the actual place where it stops.

We then went to the city for lunch and walked around a lot, I forgot about sunscreen and ended up sunburnt on the face as it was a fine and lovely sunny day!!  Stopped off at the city gardens where I got this shot of a beautiful sunflower with bee passenger. Of course later it was afternoon tea with dear G and then back to Julians for dinner.  I’m thoroughly exhausted in a good way and will now be heading for the bed and looking forward to a quiet Sunday ahhh!! :o)
