Queen’s Gardens

An impromptu visit from friend R to take advantage of the sunshine found us walking into Sedbergh to have a walk around Queen’s Gardens, created to commemorate Queen Victoria. A small plot of just under a hectare, it has been neglected for many years. Now the Friends of Queen’s Gardens are renovating it and it’s starting to look good. I will be visiting it again. The extra is the sign on the cross giving more info about it. You can see the Howgills in the background.
