The Woodland Garden (Sunday 21st March 2021)

The builder and his mate were here for most of yesterday working in the porch and conservatory, so I spent the time on the computer in the study and making phone calls until long after they had gone, and I could finally prepare a very late lunch. Consequently I did not take any pictures. The plasterboarding  is now done, completing Stage One, though I am now taking quotes for skimming and painting the new ceilings. It is never over...

I did some garden tidying this morning and was surprised to find how far it had come on. I was particularly pleased to discover a clump of snake's-head fritillaries that I didn't even know were on their way, so it became obligatory to blip one of them. In Extras are some newly flowering polyanthuses in a front yard pot.
