On the nest

Today was beach cleaning and weeding day. The weather was beautiful. We were weeding along just fine until I spotted a killdeer acting like it was in destress. I knew right away I was to close to it's nest and backed off. We will finish the beach after the chicks hatch. Happy to have a head start on it and baby killdeer on the way.
