Snowdrop ( Galanthus elwesii "Polar Bear" )

Busy round home so not many chances for blip.  So I have fallen back on one of the plants Clickychick bought last week.  Kanyl is a bit of a Galanthophile I know he has this variety but I don't remember seeing it. 

It caught my eye from several metres away at the garden centre.  Obviously it is a late flowering variety.   The flowers are large with the petals widely spaced.  G elwesii is I gather also known as "Giant Snowdrop".   It is a variety I find particularly attractive.
