Cheery yellow ...

... on a rainy Sunday.

It has rained most of the day so the light was simply terrible for photography ... yet again!

We both spent most of the day doing chores around the house. I made a couple of masks for us ... but I didn't like the fit of the first one so won't make this style again.  The second one fits much better so I will use this pattern again.  I watch a lot of YouTube videos for different style masks and then make them to see if I like the fit.  Some are a no go!

Because of the rain we didn't think we would get out for a walk but the rain let up a little in the late afternoon so we went to Housenick Memorial Park for a short walk.  Thankfully it stayed rain free during our walk but the rain return with a vengeance later on.

I hadn't taken many pictures throughout the day so when these American Goldfinches landed near the feeder I quickly got some shots. I didn't even have time to open the window! The goldfinch on the right is a male and the out of focus goldfinch is a female.  The males are starting to get their beautiful summer gold back and I'm thrilled to see their bright yellow returning! By summer he will look like this!
