Car Talk

Grampa had to go check the old 1998 blue Volvo that Nik now drives for a few things….looks like someone washed it..surprise!      No one maintains this old vehicle like Grampa would …he keeps it running.  (for way more $ than he could get for it)  It’s a nostalgia thing.  (Today  Nik learned about “wear bars”).    Cocoa goes crazy when we show up..always fun to play with. (extra, with Oskar)  Oskar’s team has a scrimmage with his own football team tonight as the team they were to play has “covid issues”…their High School is due to start on April 19 .. NIk’s ready to see more people but Tatum thinks it’s just not worth it.  They are both narrowing down the college choice. 

Bought some hot cross buns for all of us today…I haven’t had these (extra) for ages…we always had them when I was growing up…the taste is familiar.

3rd extra....thank heavens for the bball court in their yard this past year!


We ordered a new induction stove today since the electric one I have only does HIGH heat and I have to keep turning it on and off to get a lower temp.…I’m hoping it will help my cooking….:-)
