Nest

I blipped the male Red Kite on 31st March when I finally spotted where the pair had moved to.  Here is the female Red Kite incubating her eggs on top of her nest made of a hugh pile of twigs.  The tree with catkins below is a Goat Willow, beloved of the bees in the early Spring.

This is the best shot I can get with my current equipment, but I have ordered a new lens :-) which I hope will arrive next week and allow me to get closer and clearer shots.
