Thoroughly unpleasant

The weather has been grim today; high winds and squally showers, sometimes snowy, sometimes not, but always with a raw quality.

I chose to say in bed until late. In my impatience I overdid it yesterday and paid the consequences with a bad night and sore arm. Really nothing of any excitement happened today!
