Trail Walk at Holden Arboretum

Saturday, the day before Easter,  was a mostly sunny day, so I went for a trail walk at Holden with my daughter Becky. I hadn't been there recently, and it was great to come home with some pictures to share. Today's blip is my favorite tree, the weeping willow next to Lotus Pond in the Arboretum. To my mind, it is a very special place for trail walking because there is so much beauty to see. This willow is one of my favorites!

Today's extra is a close-up of pussy willow catkins that I spotted along the trail. They were appealing to look at and really soft to  touch. In their group of three they were so photogenic I simply had to include them in today's blip.
