Spot the birdie

Thank you Bodkin for giving me a break from reading! Gosh, this puzzle was hard, but I hope you can spot the little bird, one of a number of tiny gems hidden away in the randomly shaped pieces.

I will admit that I called in the cavalry. LH is so much better at jigsaws than me and he needed respite from his desk!
