Dahlia

This is a very close up of one of the dahlias in yesterdays blip, just a little intentional camera shake.  A lazy blip I have to say.
We woke to the sound of rain on the roof - something we haven't heard for months.  Didn't last for long though, with a miserable 4mm recorded.  It continued to be overcast all day.
Apart from waking up to rain, we also woke to the news that the Duke had passed away.  I always had a soft spot for him, his spunk, his bloopers, his love of the outdoors - many of our NZ young adults have done the Duke of Edinburgh Hilary awards. Open to 14-24 year old, challenging them to dream big and discover their potential.
