Spring Activity

I read an article by wildlife photographer Jared Lloyd, offering suggestions on photographing in overcast lighting conditions.  If including the sky is a necessity, he suggested creating a high key image.  By increasing exposure in camera, the background turns white (I actually prefer to leave a hint of gray/blue), emphasizing the subject.  This technique came in handy for these mating Ospreys this morning, as well as the gull in extras.
