Drifting

Had a day off from sanding woodwork, and instead made a big pan of pepper, lentil and tomato soup, and then tackled some household chores. MrM had a full day in the workshop.

Didn't venture out on to the High Street which was thronging with people eager to go shopping now that non-essential shops can open. For most of the day there was a queue of folk waiting to go in to the charity shop.

It was quite late when we set of for an evening walk and the light was already fading. Just enough time to do the Humbleton round before it got properly dark! Looking back over Glendale we watched the smoke from a farmer's fire drifting up the valley. On the way back down we passed quite close by the three roe deer, which didn't seem particularly bothered our presence. Didn't see the barn owl this evening though.
