Bus Pass Walk

The Bus Pass Walkers walked alongside the canal and the river today in lovely warm sunshine.  Bluebells were blooming alongside the river, and the canal edge was lined with Celandines.  This cormorant was lazing on the bank of the river along with 2 goosanders.  The fishermen aren’t happy about the presence of the cormorants as they take a lot of the fish.  Extras of the bluebells, the approach to the weir and the flower lined canal bank.  Refreshments at the Loft Cafe where the waitress was doing a sterling job of dodging the traffic to reach the seating area!  Another lovely walk in great company.
