The longish winding road/path

Title doubtless inspired by the fact I'm listening to the amazing Milos' recording of various Beatles classics, although this particular one isn't on it!

A view from the dentist's car park of daffodils that had the sense to wait a few days before opening and escape the winds and snow. The surgery is in a very elegant old house and the grounds obviously complement it, even if a bit shaggy around the edges these days.

We spent much of the day in Kirkwall running various errands, all pretty uneventful but necessary.

LH has suffered my frayed temper today, poor chap; too much gardening yesterday and a rotten night's sleep being woken at intervals by arm ache has made me a ratty companion. I'll try and be kinder tomorrow.
