Garden day

Warm sunshine, and some time to work in the garden today - what a pleasure. I had company too, the fruit trees were busy with pollinators.

The late-delivered greengage, that I conscientiously planted the day it arrived, is not showing signs of growth yet... there are buds, but they may be drying out/dying rather than growing, I think. It's still a little too soon to say; we'll see if there's any change in the coming week or two.
