No wall

By the end of today they have removed the concrete blockwork that was sitting on top of the older stone wall, that formed the back wall of the extension. They had to power tool each block out one at a time, and then throw the block into the bucket of yesterday's bucket load lifter.

This week I'm working for a client who provides their own IT kit, which is annoying as I can't see my own work email and have to keep swapping between computers. They used to have Lenovo laptops which I didn't like the horribly cheap keyboard on, as it flexed so much that just typing would cause the mouse to move... The current super fancy HP touch screen is even worse, and has an utterly awful keyboard, that is even rose than the Lenovo and my work Dell. Thankfully I use my own mechanical keyboard which has proper travel and a nice resounding clunk!
